Let us take a hard look at this picture.
What does it say about a Christian ‘civilized’ society?
Is there any difference between ‘our home grown’ terrorists and those of the ‘other’ kind?
Is there any difference between IRA, Real IRA, its assorted ‘dissidents’ and Hamas, Al Qaeda, PLO etc. ?
- They both ‘fight’ for ‘freedom’.
- They bomb civilian targets.
- They kill innocent unarmed civilians.
- And they do it in the name of religion because if you see the ceremonies of both ‘camps’ it is evident Christianity and Islam play an important and active part in their operations.
British Intelligence has been keeping tabs on suspected Al Qaeda operatives in Ireland. Reports of a Libyan link with regards to supply of weapons for murder have been confirmed by Intelligence Agencies.
There is a real connection in ‘operation’ between these murderous groups.
So on one side many ‘Western Nations’ have supported, even surreptitiously supported/ financed the IRA while on the other side condemned the Muslim terrorists.
I suppose ‘our terrorists’ are better than ‘their’ terrorists.
Our dead are more ‘worthy’ than their dead.
We are ‘civilised’ while they are ‘savages’
Right?
The truth is that all these people are glorified murderers, nothing more.
Yesterday’s Bomb threat in London by IRA ‘dissidents’ on the eve of the visit of the Queen to Ireland doesn’t say much about a perceived ‘civilized’ society. The Western Media had played down the threat because it was from a ‘loving hands at home’ group.
What if the threat had come from Al Qaeda?
And how do we know Al Qaeda is not providing logistical support to the IRA dissidents?
Hypocrisy reigns supreme while State condoned murders continue.
Is the IRA a terrorist group?
The IRA has never been listed as a terrorist organization by the State Department,* but the British Home Office lists any group under the IRA name, as well as various splinter organizations, as proscribed terrorist groups. The IRA no longer describes itself as an armed force and officially ended its armed campaign to reunify Ireland in July 2005. An independent report stated that the IRA has decommissioned its weapons. This announcement was greeted with praise and hope by both the British and Irish governments. However, the IRA and its political wing still oppose what it calls an illegal foreign occupation of its country. Meanwhile, two IRA splinter groups, Real IRA and Continuity IRA, still practice terrorism and remain on the EU’s and the State Department’s terrorist group lists as recently as 2009.
Om Shanti Shanti Shanti Om
